Installation - Plugin

To install the C/C++ Development Plugin:

  1. Go to the Websphere Studio Workbench plugins directory ( <...>\eclipse\plugins\)
  2. Install the C/C++ Development Plugin 
     unzip cdt-eclipse-0.5.0-local.zip

Verification - Plugin

The C/C++ Development Plugin should now be ready for use. To confirm that the installation was successful:

  1. Launch the Websphere Studio Workbench
  2. Select menu item:

  3. Select menu item:

  4. LMB click

If the C/C++ Development Perspective is loaded and looks similar to this, then the installation was successful. If not, refer to our installation troubleshooting page.

Verification - Documentation

The C/C++ Development Documentation should now be ready for use. To confirm that the installation was successful:

  1. Launch the Websphere Studio Workbench
  2. Select menu item:


  3. Open the help contents drop down list and select:


  4. Verify the help perspective contents are similar to:
