To install the C/C++ Development Tools, please refer to the detailed instructions contained in install.txt.

To confirm that a CDT installation was successful:

1. Launch the Eclipse Workbench
2. Select menu item:
   
3. Select menu item:
   
4. LMB click

If the C/C++ Development Perspective is loaded and looks similar to this, then the installation was successful. If not, refer to our installation troubleshooting page.

The C/C++ Development Tools should now be ready for use. To confirm that the documentation was properly installed:

1. Launch the Eclipse Workbench
2. Select menu item:
   
   
3. Open the help contents drop down list and select:
   
   
4. Verify the help perspective contents are similar to:
