PHP Search enables users to locate declarations of PHP Classes, Functions and Constants. Results of searches are displayed in a separate Search pane.
You can activate PHP Search by any of the following:
Click the Search
button (
) on the toolbar, or:
Click Ctrl+H, or:
Select Search | Search from the menu bar.
The following dialog will appear:

Enter the Search String and select Class or Function or Constant. You may use the standard wild cards (* and ?) in the string field. In addition, you may require that the search be Case Sensitive.
Select the Scope (Workspace, Selected Resources, Enclosing Projects or Working Set).
Click Search. The results will be displayed in the Search Results pane.

Use this option to select the available tabs when the Search function is activated.

The search result pane is integrated with the Editor.
Double click a result in the Search Pane. The Editor will jump to that instance.
Click the Show
Next/Previous Match button (
);
the Editor will jump to the Next /
Previous instance of the search result.

Select the search to display; it will be displayed in the Search Result pane
The size of the history list is configurable.
Click the Previous
Searches button (not the arrow) on the Search pane toolbar (
). The list of Previous Searches will
appear.

Click Configure. The Configure History dialog will appear. Select the size of the Search History and click OK.
