Creating a File

To create a file:

1. In one of the navigation views, right-click the project or folder where you want to create the new file.

2. From the pop-up menu, select New > PHP File (or File > New > PHP File).

3. If not already done - choose a project folder location  

4. Enter the name of the file, including the file extension (for example, newfile.txt).

5. Click Finish. The file opens in the editor associated with its type.
