Drop SQL Objects
Identifier:
org.eclipse.wst.rdb.server.extensions.DropSQLObjects
Since:
This extension point is part of an interim API that is still under development and expected to change significantly before reaching stability. It is being made available at this early stage to solicit feedback from pioneering adopters on the understanding that any code that uses this API will almost certainly be broken (repeatedly) as the API evolves.
Description:
This extension point can be used to provide an own implementation to drop sql data objects from the database. By default all sql data objects in the database explorer are dropped from the database by executing a DROP ddl statement. If running the DROP ddl statement is not sufficient to remove a specific sql data object from the database, implementors of this extension point can contribute a class which is used to perform the drop operation instead of running the DROP ddl statement.
