Requirements

These are the prerequisites to install WebTools Platform;. They must be downloaded and installed before the WTP can be installed.


  • The Eclipse driver used in this build is eclipse-SDK-3.1.2-linux-gtk.tar.gz. You can find a suitable driver for your platform at here
  • The EMF driver used in this build is emf-sdo-xsd-SDK-2.1.2.zip
  • The GEF driver used in this build is GEF-SDK-3.1.1.zip
  • Java EMF Model Runtime driver used in this build is JEM-SDK-1.1.0.1.zip
  • WebTools Platform; All-in-one
    The Eclipse Web Tools Platform Project will initially focus on infrastructure for tools used to build applications for standards-based Web and Java runtime environments. WTP all-in-one module includes the complete set of software to start using wtp immediately. This package already has wtp combined with the complete set of prerequisites, eclipse 3.1.2 sdk, emf, gef and jem. You will not need anything else.

    WST
    Support of Web standards in the scope of the Web Standard Tools subproject includes languages and specifications published by open-standard bodies (e.g. W3C, IETF, ECMA, OASIS, WS-I, ANSI) that are commonly used by Web-centric applications (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSD, XSLT, SVG, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, SQL, XQuery). WST module only includes web standard tools build.
