Exporting connector projects to RAR files

You can export a connector project to a RAR file in preparation for deploying it to a server.

To export the contents of a connector project to a RAR file:

  1. In the Project Explorer view of the J2EE perspective, right-click the connector project that you want to export and click Export.
  2. In the Export window, click RAR file.
  3. Click Next.
  4. In the Connector module list, select the name of the connector project to export.
  5. In the Destination field, enter the full path and RAR file name where you want to export the module that is selected in the Connector project field.
  6. Optional: To export source files, select the Export source files check box.
  7. Optional: If you are exporting to an existing RAR file and you do not want to be warned about overwriting it, select Overwrite existing file
  8. Click Finish.
The wizard exports the contents of the RAR project to the specified RAR file.
