Opening an existing File
You can open an existing file by doing any of the following:
- If the editor is already running and the file you want to open has been
recently edited, do the following:
- Select the Recently Opened Files list in the File
Selector pane.
- Double-click on the name of a file to open that file for editing.
- If the editor is already running and the file you want to open has not
been recently edited, do either of the following:
- Select the directory tree list in the File Selector pane.
- Traverse through the directory tree to find the file you want to open.
- Double-click on the name of a file to open that file for editing.
or,
- Select File from the editor menu bar.
- Select Open file.
- Use the file and directory selection lists to select the file you want
to open.
- Click OK to open the selected file for editing.
Note: The editor will not try to open a file that is already
loaded in the editor.
